Management consultancy Do Different and business energy specialists Indigo Swan will present at Lloyds Banking Group’s Do Different at The Forum event on Tuesday.

The two-hour event will focus on three areas: protecting your business from cyber-security threats, encouraging wellbeing and good mental health within workplaces, and effective team development

It will be chaired by Morgan Self, managing director of Do Different, who said the aim of the seminar was to ask businesses to consider their position on all three topics.

“These things are out there and they affect all businesses,” he said.

“You can do nothing and run into problems or, with a little bit of help, you can make yourself a lot stronger.”

Speakers on cyber security include David Higgins of Do Different, Paul Maskall of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, and Jack Lyons of insurer broker JLT Specialty, who will explain the risks to organisations who ignore the threat.

Other experts will speak about the value of effective training, being aware of employee wellbeing and the importance of investing in your team.

Emily Groves, the managing director of Norwich-based Indigo Swan will explain to delegates the value of expert advice.

Mr Self said delegates would be encouraged to take an active role in developing their employees.

“You can recruit somebody, then train them up to a certain level,” he said.

“But if you then leave them and they get disenfranchised and leave, or if they start being absent, then you have to start all over again.”

Do Different has offices at Beacon Park in Gorleston, and Fuel Studios on Pottergate in Norwich.

The event runs between 7.30am and 10am at the Forum on Tuesday, December 6. To find out more about attending, email office@dodifferent.solutions
